Keeping it real

Not content with having his wonderful Lego sculptures featured in such geeky publications as Gizmodo or Wired, Chris McVeigh has managed to reach a whole different eschelon of society!

Instead of showing ordinary photos of the luxury items featured in their regular "Esquire 10" spot, Esquire magazine asked Chris to create Lego facsimiles of those products - in just 10 days! To find out how on earth he pulled this feat off, check out their interview with Chris here.



My personal favorite is the Ball Watch, pictured above. Unlike most of Chris' work, this one had to actually be larger than the original item, in order to capture the fine details. Below are the other nine items featured in the Esquire 10 piece, none of which I will ever own. Unless I can somehow become Leonardo Dicaprio's cross-dressing trophy wife.
