Flying bananas? Haha, I will slice them on my morning fish porridge!

For all you JRPG gaming fans, Brickshelf user Kuri brings us a couple suitably Chibi-fied Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series, plus Etna from the Disgaea series.

Minihattan

Well, it's a miracle I managed to find anything to post today since (if you haven't already heard the planet-wide whining), Yahoo decided to rip out Flickr's spine and use it as dental floss to remove the last remaining spinach stain of its credibility.

Nevertheless, I did stumble across some excellent Miniland+ versions of anchors from New York's Today Show, created by Dave Kaleta. See if you can name them all! Then go wash your eyes with bleach as punishment for watching the most insane 4 hours of live television known to man!

Coincidentally I was in New York myself last week, and happened to bring Mythbusters Lego Gary along for the ride. Look where we ended up! If you can guess then you are a nerd.

Bike monster cycles straight into my heart

Made by the vastly talented Carl Merriam as a prize for the I Bike Fresno Million Mile Challange. Adorable! But not enough to get me on a bike ;-)

Totally Pants

It's not often we see LEGO tributes to that defining anime movie Akira. Up to this point it's basically just been renditions of that futuristic motorcyle. So kudos to crises_crs for creating this model of Tetsuo on his makeshift throne.

And how was that awesome cloak made? You probably don't wanna know!
